It has been FOREVER since I posted. I have given up on blogging. I occasionally use facebook, and I do like Instagram. But neither of them allow me to journal or write anything about my life of my kids lives. The last thing I really wrote about was Avery's baptism, and Liam turning SIX. both of which were two years ago. When I think of all of the funny stories that I've neglected to write down I get very sad.  They have changed so much. They have grown so much. I am never going to be less busy. I am never going to have more time. I am never going to have these moments and these stories again! So, I better make every moment of it count! Kids love nothing more than seeing pictures of themselves and hearing stories of what they were like when they were little. It's something I can give to them.

Avery just finished 4th grade. She is a sweet, smart, beautiful, talented girl.  She is learning to play piano. She is an amazing big sister. I listened to her reading bedtime stories to Emrie tonight. That is actually what prompted me to start writing a blog again. I was tearing up listening to them and thought how sad it would be to forget this moment.

Liam just finished 2nd grade. He is a very smart boy. He has an amazing math brain. He picks up on things so quickly. He is almost eight and is excited to get baptized.  He loves to tell a good joke and is a great big brother to Emrie. He has the most amazing blue eyes, but doesn't like it when I tell him that they are pretty!

Emrie is four and a half going on 16.  She already wants to be a cheerleader. She loves her baby dolls, and loves playing pet shops with Avery. She loves to sing, and actually can carry a tune. She loves to read stories. If you read her one, she will retell it to you in the sweetest voice. She loves primary, and especially the singing time.

We went to Disneyland last year (April 2012) Here are a few pictures of that adventure.

These next pictures are from Thanksgiving 2012 on Uncle Lonny and Aunt Ida's farm. Poor Avery is sideways and I can't fix it now....

Happy

MAD

Silly

who knows what this one is.....

This girl is not lacking in personality! She definitely keeps me on my toes and running from place to place. She talks my ear off everday! She is very fun.

Liam turns the big "SIX"

Liam is so easay. He always has been. He was a very easy going baby, he'd play by himself, sit in his swing for hours, and he's still that easy. He turned six on July 28th. His idea of a perfect party was having his buddies over to play wii. That's all he wanted. We made some cupcakes and had his friends come and bring their favorite games. Easiest party ever, and he was super happy.

My favorite little man- he is so sweet to his mommy.

He was so excited that his cousin Caleb happened to be here from Texas when we had his party. That doesn't happen too often!

I love this little boy. He is so fun and happy (most of the time). He is in first grade, and so smart I'm not sure what to do with him. He loves reading and going to primary. He's recently discovered that he even likes singing the primary songs (don't tell anyone). He is a great big brother to Emrie. He sometimes wishes he had a brother, but I think he secretly likes being the only boy. If Cody is ever out of town, he takes on the role as man of the house and takes it very seriously!

Avery's Baptism

What a sweet day we had when Avery got baptized. This picture was taken right after. The day was such a busy blur, that somehow I didn't even get a picture of her and Cody in their white clothes before the baptism. I've thought about going to the church on someone elses day and borrowing the clothes just for a picture, but I never have!
It was a day I'll never forget, and I know she won't either. We had so many people come support her. She says she felt very loved and very warm that day. We had a lovely lunch in our back yard (which I'm sure someone took pictures of!). It was a lovely day.
She is such a sweet girl. So loving and kind and close to the spirit. She always wants to make people happy and do the right things. She tries hard at everything she does. She truly is a beautiful person, inside and out. She is a great example to those around her, especially me!

So I really HATE....

playing blog catch up!! But, since it's been about six months since I've posted ANYTHING...it's either catch up or give up altogether.
I am really not at keeping a journal, or at writing anything down at all. So I feel like I don't want to give up on this, even if I'm the only one that ever reads it.
Cody and I were just talking about how busy we are and how we feel like we don't even have time to breathe, or talk to eachother. But I suppose that's just the way it is with three kids, crazy job hours, church callings, soccer, piano, activity days, friends, family, and all the other things I'm supposed to be doing, but I'm probably not.
So, if I don't take time to enjoy something, and document my life and my children, and take pictures...I'll probably forget this time completely, and that would make me really sad!

I will be updating, with pictures...soon!
